Amy Winston goes back to her home on the farm for Christmas taking Scott Mecham, her fiancé who had grown up in the big city, with her. Scott doesn’t hide his distain and doesn’t try to fit it. To make matters worse, she reluctantly realizes she hasn’t completely rid herself of feelings for Wade Hadley, her lifelong friend and high school boyfriend until that fateful day in Twin Falls. Somehow Amy suddenly finds herself between a rock and a hard place.Overall, I enjoyed this book. However, it did have a few errors. Over a hundred words had unneeded hyphens in the middle of them, which I found distracting. Lots of little details didn’t add up or changed later in the book. Also, I didn’t find Amy’s emphasis on material wealth endearing. Yet, I love the relationships and how the story unfolded.

April heads home from college for Christmas, and realizes she's engaged to the wrong guy.
Best bits The lesson is apparently that sometimes when we don't get what we want, it's because God has something even better waiting for us that we can't see yet. As long as we're clear that this is not a guarantee that we'll always get good things (which is not super clear in the book), I guess we're okay.
Issues I was pretty frustrated with all three main characters, to be honest. April clearly should not be getting married to anyone if she doesn't know who she loves, let alone who she actually is herself. I can understand being a different person at college and at home, but seriously, being engaged is more important than she apparently is aware. Scott's total unwillingness to accept farm, or even town, life comes off as very jerk-ish, though he does have the redeeming qualities of being nice to her family and realizing when they have made a mistake in becoming engaged. And Wade's hot-and-cold attitudes are frustrating, if somewhat understandable. Some plot points felt like cop-outs, mainly Wade's sudden transformation from struggling farmer to wealthy, successful, computer guy.
I love stories of forgiveness and love--Feels Like Love is exactly one of those stories. It just feels good and makes you want to keep reading to see which guy wins out! Definitely will read again!
I really liked this book and it was my first book from this author but I will now add her to my authors to read list. It's reads at an easy pace and doesn't seem to drag. It's a great lazy day read.
I loved this Christmas romance. There was so much depth to this story. April's brother tugged at my heart and made me love her even more. Wade is the perfect hero. It was so much fun to cheer for them to finally come together.
This book is part of the Christmas in Snow Valley boxed set and they are all fabulous.
This is a great story with a base on priorities and goals and having them right. Sometimes what we think we want Isn't what is right for us. I definitely recommend reading this story.
April and her new fiancee are going to her home for the holidays. The author has put together a great cast of characters. City boy meets the country boy, and gets up close and personal with barns and their inhabitants. This is a good clean romance, that gives you a really good HEA. The characters are compelling, and her locations are wonderful.
Feels Like Love is the perfect Christmas story to get you in the mood for all that holiday goodness and celebration. I could relate to bringing home a new boyfriend to meet the family at Christmas time and trying to figure out your life at this age and how difficult it can be - and emotional! The author kept me on my toes wondering who April was going to choose and figuring out which man she'd be happier with city slicker Scott Mechem - or country boy-next-door Wade Hadley
